Oxygen in my blood

Will you still love me when dawn disappoints?
Will you still love me when my heart drops
the baton and the symphony ends?
Will you still love me when your promises
only seem as dancing ashes?
Will you still love me when my strength
is nothing more than the whispering of the wind?

Your love is brighter than the melody
of the sun.
It covers my naked soul.
Even when I run,
even when I trip over the faint of dusk.

Your love is the expanding
and contracting of my lungs.
It is the oxygen in my blood.
It is Life.

Your love is without end,
it cradles eternity.
And I am loved, forever.
